Crydom’s SMR-6 Series of Monitoring Solid State Relays offer the user a number of fault condition alarms in a standard package, with output ratings from 25 to 90 Amps at 60-553 VAC.

This Crydom intelligent SSR is constantly monitoring loss of voltage, open circuit load, damaged relay output and DC supply current. An LED indicator provides status information and an electronic output can be connected to the control system for continuous status reporting.

The alarm output on an SMR-6 monitoring SSR has 2 options: normally open (PNP) or normally closed (NPN), with sinking current capabilities of up to 100mA.

Applications where a SMR-6 SSR with alarm is particularly suited include: motor control systems, vending machines, food equipment, pump control and conveyor drives, among others.
