Crydom’s MCS series of Solid State soft start/soft stop controllers combine solid state technology with advanced microprocessor based control circuitry to provide an adjustable gradual application, or shutdown of power, to a wide range of loads with ratings from 25 to 90 Amps at 48-530 VAC.

MCS series controllers can help reduce the surges generated during the startup or the turn-off of a load. Available in 3 basic types: soft start controller, soft stop controller, soft-start and soft stop series controllers apply phase angle control to smoothly ramp up or down the output power. The ramp rate is adjustable by means of a control signal. The control input options are: low DC voltage, 4-20 mA, or with internal potentiometer control.
