COMEM

Since 1962 COMEM has been an important brand in the electromechanical components for distribution and power transformers. In 2009, COMEM became a member of the ABB Group, at that time the company had plants and operating units in Italy, Turkey, Brazil and China.

Comem portfolio included 12 different product lines, from low voltage bushings to measurement and safety devices with analog and digital output (eDevices) that enable continuous asset health monitoring and the transformation of the traditional grid into a smart grid. Comem product offering helped ABB to expand its portfolio and facilitated continued growth in the transformer components business.
